Project Overview

Kelsey Village is a joint venture between Domus Development and Satellite Affordable Housing Associates. This project utilizes a HUD 811 Grant originally awarded to Satellite for a 20-unit supportive housing project in Manteca that fell victim to the economic recession.

Kelsey Village replaces a vacant, blighted former motel and SRO facility with 20 newly constructed affordable housing units with 50 percent of the units reserved for those with developmental disabilities. An on-site case manager works with residents to connect them with high-quality services nearby and provide opportunities on-site.

Designed with disabled populations in mind, amenities include a large community room, private meeting rooms for case management, on-site laundry, a terrace and a community garden with wheelchair accessibility.
